Valerie McQueen, a reader of my blog, wrote two small books that are filled with good material that can be used is small Bible study groups.
The first book is Queen Mothers of the Kingdom: Mothers of the Kings of Judah. In this book Valerie studies the role of the Gebirah in the kingdom of Judah. The Gebirah was the official title of the mother of the ruling king of Judah.
After introducing the Gebirah and the role she played in the palace, Valerie presents a small biographical information of all the queen mothers of the southern kingdom. These biographies of the queen mothers provide valuable information on Gebirahs and the role they played during the reign of their sons.
The second book is A Troubled and Glorious Past: The Genealogy of Jesus through His Great Grandmothers. In her book Valerie studies the genealogy of Jesus and provides a brief biographical information on each woman that appears in the genealogy of Jesus.
Valerie found the inspiration to write her two books after reading my posts on the great grandmothers of Jesus. In her book, Valerie writes how my blog provided the impetus for her research and for her writing.
Valerie is a Community Service Chaplain, a riding member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association and the Coast Guard Riders. She was the owner of a community newspaper and of a minor league sports newspaper.
Valerie is the mother of two children. Those who want to read these books should email Valerie and purchase the book from her. Valerie can be reached at tm420771 at gmail dot com.

Hello! I am reading through the Holy Land Illustrated Study Bible. I read the extras, and today read one about the origin of the monarchy in Israel. It was really interesting and well-written! I looked up the author, who was you. So I found you online — just wanted to thank you for that interesting piece, and hopefully I’ll read more of your work as I make my way through the Bible.
