The Chronicle of Higher Education today has an article on William Lane Craig that I believe should be read by a wider audience. The article was written by Nathan Schneider, author of the book, God in Proof: The Story of a Search From the Ancients to the Internet.
Craig has debated with many atheists in order to show that the existence of God and the resurrection of Christ should be taken seriously by people everywhere. Craig uses modern scientific research on the Big Bang and the laws of thermodynamics to demonstrate to atheists that there is a God. Craig also uses the cosmological argument for the existence of God and the need of God’s existence for the presence of moral laws in the world.
In his article, Schneider quoted Sam Harris, another famous atheist, who called Craig “the one Christian apologist who seems to have put the fear of God into many of my fellow atheists.”
I encourage you to read this article. You can read the article by visiting The Chronicle of Higher Education online.
