The Associated Press has published an interesting article on “The Gabriel Stone.” This stone contains ancient Hebrew writing that mentions the archangel Gabriel.
According to one interpretation of this mysterious writing, the text reflects first millennium B.C. apocalyptic writing. According to archeologists, the Gabriel Stone was probably written in the first century B.C. with a type of Hebrew script that resembles the writings found in some of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
The Gabriel stone mentions Gabriel leading an army of angels to deliver Jerusalem from an attack by God’s enemy.
