Steven Spielberg, the famous Hollywood director, has agreed to direct a remake of “The Ten Commandments” for Warner Bros. But his version of Moses will be different from the Moses presented in Cecille B. DeMille’s version of the Ten Commandments.
For those who expect a Charlton Heston-esque Moses in the remake, think again. The humble portrayal of the man in the 1956 epic will be replaced by a warrior in the remake.
The film, with the working title “Gods and Kings,” will be “like a ‘Braveheart’-ish version of the Moses story,”

Oy. The appeal of Moses is his humility and strength which comes from the Lord. This does not make him less than masculine. I hope the movie does not end up with a super-hero Moses. For some reason my cynicism is working overtime and I envision a Moses who is a cross between a Benny Hinn and Bruce Willis.
