A few days ago, I wrote a post and made the following statement:
According to Pastor Steve Anderson, Jesus wore pants because Deuteronomy 22:5 says that it is an abomination to God for a man to wear women’s clothing. This is what the Bible says about wearing women’s clothing:
“A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this” (Deuteronomy 22:5).
Now, my friend Darrell Pursiful at Dr. Platypus has asked the following question: “Did Jesus Wear a Dress?”
Darrell has written an excellent article in which he discusses the issue of “how men dressed in the first century.” Visit Darrel’s blog and read his article; it is an article worth reading.

I was amazed to find Iranians created pance according to Wikipedia-maybe if Steve Anderson(I refuse to call him a pastor or I will have to apologize to every [pastor I ever sat under) maybe if Anderson preaches against Islam and Iran, we can show unity by refusing to wear pance ever again!(This is a joke of course)

David,
What can be said about Anderson? I am sure that he has already preached about Islam and Iran; we just have not heard those sermons yet.

Either the legs are together inside a single circle of fabric or they are separated int9o twin tubes. In the early days of civilization who wore a skirt was only about who wasn’t riding a horse; that is all. Mongols and Parthians invented the twin tube leg garment for riding horses. In AD 378 the Romans were defeated by trousered cavalrymen at the Battle of Adrianople. In AD 393 by order of Emperor Theodosius I, men in pants were exiled from Rome and their property seized, they were seen as barbarians and political subversives. The order was reaffirmed 30 years later. In AD 1431 the English invaders in France killed Joan of Arc by flames, because she had worn pants and they said pants were mens clothes (use by association only) and she had worn pants for riding. People will murder others for non conforming. Its pitiful to see the church validating psychiatric terminology, when psychiatry is very antichrist. Did Jesus not understand Deut 22:5? In Luke 7 Jesus said the Roman centurion had the greatest faith. That soldier was wearing a skirt, which today people insist on calling cross dressing if worn by a male. It did not bother Jesus, but it does bother the church today. The modern Greek army still has men in skirts. What will the church do about it? It is not up to the church to say “Jesus plus pants saves men, but women get to wear anything!”

Charles,
Thank you for your comment.
As you mentioned in your comment, the two tube leg garment was not used in antiquity. I am sure Jesus never used the two-tube leg garment in his life.
