Inside Noah’s Ark

Chinese and Turkish evangelical explorers have announced that they have found the remains of Noah’s Ark on Mt. Ararat in Turkey.

Below is an excerpt from the news release:

A group of Chinese and Turkish evangelical explorers say wooden remains they have discovered on Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey are the remains of Noah’s Ark.

The group claims that carbon dating proves the relics are 4,800 years old, meaning they date to around the same time the ark was said to be afloat. Mt. Ararat has long been suspected as the final resting place of the craft by evangelicals and literalists hoping to validate biblical stories.

Yeung Wing-Cheung, from the Noah’s Ark Ministries International research team that made the discovery, said: “It’s not 100 percent that it is Noah’s Ark, but we think it is 99.9 percent that this is it.”

I have blogged several times announcing that Noah’s Ark has been discovered. I was skeptic then and I am skeptic now. However that person is who is inside of the Ark (in the picture above), he is not the first one to be inside Noah’s Ark and he will not be the last.

  1. >Amazing Claude – the link you have is much better than those I saw yesterday as you have pictures. Those are mind blowing if actually the Ark.Lets see with the dating we are talking 2800BC – could someone have built something up there – the Hong Kong team's site you link to is very interesting but they are not saying if the structure seems to be a boat! They obviously had a major press conference but I am not hearing much in Sydney from the media – I expect they are suspicious after the other "finds" This Noah’s Ark Discovered And Photos Taken Inside : Altitude 13,000′ On Mount Ararat, Turkey! | Political Ape has more photos and also goes into the other finds which we also had on TV in Australia 2 weeks ago.My reading of the site is that they see as a Gospel opportunity. I'd think proving that it is what they belief is what they should do first.

  2. >Ron,Thank you for your comment. As you already found out, this discovery was a hoax. It is too bad that these people were deceived into believing they had found the real thing.Claude Mariottini
