I will have eye surgery this coming Monday, November 21. I will have a cornea transplant in order to remove a lens which is embedded on the cornea.
I will stop blogging from November 21 until January 1, 2023. During this time of absence from the blog, I will republish some of my early posts. I have published almost three thousand posts since 2005. Most new readers of the blog have never read these old posts. This is a good time to become acquainted with my early writings.
If you have read these old posts, I invite you to visit the Archive section of my blog and you will find hundreds of studies on a variety of Old Testament topics.
To all friends, readers, and subscribers of my blog, I want to wish you a joyful Thanksgiving, a blessed Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
I will see you in 2023.

Emeritus Professor of Old Testament
