I was just looking at Deborah’s name in Hebrew yesterday. What a coincidence! Maybe you can help me with this. What is the chance that Deborah’s name meaning “bee” and Jael’s name being very similar (having the same root letters) to the word “mountain goat” could be a parallel with the “land flowing with milk and honey”… two things that come from bees and goats.Also, have you noticed that Deborah’s husband’s name is the word for flash and Barack’s name is the word for lightning?Just curious if you have heard anything on either of these two bits of info.

First, thank you for your comment and for visiting my blog.I would doubt that the names of Deborah and Jael would have anything to do with the idea of a “land flowing with milk and honey.”Many people have proposed that Barak was Deborah’s husband because of the similarity of the meaning of the two names. Personally, I doubt the connection.
