>I appreciate the concern addressed in this thread of posts and comments.It is heartening to see that, among some who are reviving the use of the Psalms in their liturgies, there is a sensitivity to God’s name being transliterated rather than replaced by LORD, GOD, or SOVEREIGN.I know Jehovah’s Witnesses are not Christian, and that ‘Jehovah’ was a poor attempt at rendering the Tetragrammaton, but it seems that the Church should be sensitive to valid criticisms of how we treat the name of God. Perhaps we are on the way to taking care in this area.Thank you for your signposts pointing us in the proper direction.
